PreclinApps Ltd is a medical technology company focused on developing and commercializing products for preclinical drug discovery markets. Company´s key products are polymer based long-term delivery systems called MedRod®, designed for preclinical animal research. PreclinApps can also serve as a contract research organization (CRO) and provide services for pharmaceutical industry and other research facilities.

The company was founded in 2014 by co-founders. Our mission is to develop novel sustained release systems that are scientifically better, cost-efficient, more ethical for animals and have better compliance for patients. To achieve this goal we have sustained release technology platforms that enable stable release of small to macromolecules from days to several years.

Polymer based drug delivery

Preclinapps has research facilities at the Smart Chemistry Park (SCP) in Raisio, Southwest Finland. SCP is an innovation platform for bio- and circular economies which core competence lies in different fields of chemistry.
